Keeping your items safe

Day Lockers are located in the Wellness Centre change rooms on the Loading Level of the hospital (LL.041 and LL.037), and are available to all learners. Learners must provide their own locks and empty their lockers, including the lock, after each shift.

Arrangements are often made on each unit to maintain security of personal items for medical and health discipline students. Please discuss with your supervisor the best option for you.

Underground parking at Hennick Bridgepoint is available for students via Jack Layton Way (off Broadview) or via St. Matthews Road (off Gerrard). For a map, view the Parking page.

You may request a student parking pass when you collect your student security access card from the Security Desk on your first day. The student fee is $7 per exit.

Load the student parking pass with funds at the automated payment machine at the elevator lobby. You may use cash (exact change is recommended) or a credit card (payment in $35 increments only). On your last day, return your parking pass to the Security Desk. Note - there is no reimbursement of any remaining credit on the student parking card at the end of your placement.

There is also a Green P parking lot at 573 Gerrard on the south side of Gerrard, just west of Broadview. Street parking is available in the neighbourhood but very limited.

A secure locker for bicycles is also provided at the Ambulatory Care entrance. Students may request the current access code for the bike locker from the Security desk at any time.
