Family caregivers are important members of the care team. The Syron Caregiver Resource Centre strengthens our commitment to providing spaces that enable inclusive, compassionate, people-centred care. Designed with input from more than 150 caregivers, this centre provides support and resources they need to navigate their caregiving journey.
Features include:
- A warm and welcoming respite space for caregivers
- Programs to support caregiver wellness and resilience
- Education on caregiver topics
- Access to resources and practical skills for caregiving
Programs and services:
The space is also designed to host programs supporting caregiver wellness and education, including professionally-led groups on coping and resilience, peer support programs, and sessions on practical caregiving skills.
- Webinars: Join our online seminars to learn about caregiving-related topics.
- Community Partner: Connect with local organizations to receive additional support.
- Caregiver Support: Get peer support and professionally lead groups to help cope with the caregiving role.
- Skill Building: Clinical teams and caregiver advisors to provide practical skills to prepare for the caregiving role.
- Education: Provide additional education on caregiver topics and assistance with accessing resources.

Monday: 10 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Tuesday: 10 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Wednesday: 10 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Thursday: 10 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Friday: 10 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Sunday: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
With a caregiver ID Badge, caregivers can access the centre 24 hours a day.
